As we continue to strengthen our skills set, we seek to strengthen our network. Through our Community Engagement project we are looking for new partners for our navigator work and sponsors for projects.

Wai'anae Moku 2050
Wai'anae Moku believes in growing leaders for and from our community. Our Wai'anae Moku 2050 project is all about providing opportunities for our 'opio. In addition to the youth summit, other opportunities include service learning projects and youth leadership training.

Community Resource Development Summit
Our annual summit brings our community together to discuss current projects as well as generate new ideas for community development.

Youth Summit
It is important for our youth to have an outlet and share their thoughts about the Wai'anae Coast community. We are working to partner with schools and other youth serving organizations to create an annual Wai'anae Youth Summit for 'opio in grades 8th-12th.

Training and Capacity Building
​Wai'anae Moku Navigators believe knowledge is power and training will empower our community. The goal is to secure free, annual, quarterly training opportunities for the community on a variety of topics such as grant writing, facilitation and using Census data.

Resource Library
Our resource library will focus on tools that will empower and activate the community. The resource library will include current community events but also historical data pertinent to community development.
